Lee Hyori - U Go Girl [Korean]

Lee Hyori finally released her MV for her title song U Go Girl. The story line is about a nerdy, naive girl who decides to get plastic surgery and comes back as a glamorous diva. Hyorish adds some special touches, like the dance break in the middle, just to show that shes still got the groove. She managed to prove that shes definitely the IT girl of kpop, with an explosive number of hits on her MV and preorders for her album.
Hyoris MV also dispelled all rumors of plagiarism, exonerating the MV producer of his faults. Good thing I trusted the adamant Mr. PD because I bet a lot of people will be sheepishly admitting that this copy-kittish scandal was blown out of proportions. I also noticed that the soda-pop bar scene was a parody of a Burger King commercial, not a copy of Christina Aguileras Candy Man. In celebration of Lee Hyoris vindication over the hot-headed netizens, the picture above is a witty touché and Im proud of it. Anyway, look forward to the popdivas comeback performance on July 18. Lee Hyori, you go girl! or should I say U go gur!

Are Korean women naturally beautiful? Is plastic surgery common in S. Korea?
I watch a lot of Korean soaps and the actors and actresses are very attractive. I’ve heard that plastic surgery is very very common in S. Korea. I’ve heard that 50-60% of women in their 20’s get plastic surgery there. And I’ve also heard that S. Korea is known for having tons of plastic surgery hospitals.
I have friends who are Korean and they are good looking girls and my guy friends constantly ask me if they are with anyone. But my girl friends are not like what you see on the Korean soaps.
I guess what I want to know is, are Korean women naturally beautiful or do the majority of women go under the knife?
Plastic surgery is rampent here. The cost of it is so cheap because the demand is so high. Nowadays many parents are giving their children the “double eyelid” surgery. When you compare pictures of North Korean women to South Korean women you’ll see an extreme difference. Nosejobs are also popular, along with botox and cheek reductions.
My wife is Korean and has natural double eyelids, however half of her family got the surgery. Thats why they hide all their old pictures when friends come to visit their house. lol

Rhinoplasty ranges from £3,500 to £5,500 in the UK. You may be able to have the procedure done with parental consent, but many doctors will not operate on patients under 18 years of age at all.
You may have consultations now, but I would hold off on surgery until you are at least 18 years old, even if the surgeon is willing to do the surgery with parental consent.
Once you reach 18 and still want to go ahead, I recommend you find a rhinoplasty specialist and not just some cosmetic surgeon out of a magazine. Rhinoplasty is one of the hardest procedures to perform and needs a lot of skill and experience on the surgeon's part.
