Several options … Several options exist, but my favorite technique is to fill in the low radix with Artefill (a permanent injectable filler). This is done in the office and only takes a few minutes.
14 years old no way … 14 years old no way.. that is too young your nose wouldn’t have stopped growing yet. I am 17 years old 18 in 3 months, i had to wait a year before i had it done. I live in the uk so it went to hospital and said that i had difficulty breathing (which i had) because my nose had been broken when i was younger, they also agreed to do the comestic part by breaking and re setting the nose. It hasn’t cost me anything, i am very grateful i had it done on thursday!
Given the … Given the complexities and subtleties of rhinoplasty (way over-simplified in our video here, btw), it’s really ideal to wait a couple more years. Please, just wait just a little longer.
[Aside: having dealt with some models before, beware of the scams and ripoffs in that business...they're legion. And if you really want to model, consider living in Miami, L.A., or New York.]
i really want to … i really want to get rhinoplasty, soon !
I’m 14 years old and a freshman in high school. I’m 5′10 and an aspiring model but, i have a deviated septum and a bump on my nose, it’s SO unattractive and i hate it. My mama already agreed to let me get it done but i was just wondering if you think i’m too young? My body is very developed for my age.
mum always said … mum always said that i have my dads and his families nose but if its not then i pretty much have a stuffed up nose? but i take back the part where i said it looks asian. you cant see that it is a parrot nose from far, but when u look closely its on a bit of a slope.
Funny that you … Funny that you should say that it looks like a parrot. Medically, that’s actually called a “polly beak” deformity, as in “Polly want a cracker?” It’s a common reason for seeking rhinoplasty. When you say that it looks asian, you may be seeing what’s known as a “low radix disproportion” where the bridge of the nose is too low.
i have a nose that … i have a nose that looks fine from the front but on the side its actually a but like a parrot nose. from the front is sorta looks asian but my nostrils aren’t wide
if someone who is … if someone who is practice to be a plastic surgery doctor, please contactme i dont have money for surgery, i have a top wide nose, with large winds, perfect for surgery, in other word wide nose problem, with long wins.
All things … All things considered, yes. Rhinoplasty can (and should) be individually customized and tailored to the specific aesthetic concerns of the patient. Modern techniques allow this.
You’re describing … You’re describing what’s called a “low radix disproportion” and yes, it’s correctable by augmenting that part of the nose. There are several ways to correct it, though, both surgical and non-surgical. It all depends on the patient’s specific anatomy.
Do your research, … Do your research, check your doctor’s credentials through the department of health for that state (not just his/her website), check out the before and afters carefully. If the price seems too low, it’s usually ’cause the guy is no good! Revisions are difficult and expensive. Get it right the FIRST time. This is the trickiest procedure we do in cosmetic plastic surgery.
