When choosing a plastic surgeon it is important to ask for certification. Real plastic surgeons are certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeon. This is the only board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties as a true plastic surgery board. It is also important to consider years of experience as well as viewing before and after photos to see samples of your surgeons work.
Also known as augmentation mammoplasty, breast augmentation involves using implants to create fuller breasts or to restore breasts that may have lost volume due to weight loss or from pregnancy. If you are unhappy with the size or shape of your breasts, augmentation surgery is a choice to consider. Breast augmentation can increase the fullness and projection of your breasts, improve the balance and proportions of your figure and improve your self-image and self-confidence.
Breast augmentation alone does not correct severely drooping breasts. If you want your breasts to look fuller and to be lifted due to sagging, a breast lift may be required in combination with breast augmentation. Breast lifting can often be done at the same time as your augmentation.

During your consultation we will discuss your goals and expectations for the procedure and what your desired outcome would be. We will discuss many topics such as desired size, shape, implant type and incision site. You may also be asked about medical conditions, drug allergies, current medication use, previous surgeries, family history of breast cancer and results of any mammograms or previous biopsies. Dr. Kim will discuss what procedure will most likely get your desired result and will show photos representing these procedures.

Aging of the face is inevitable. As the years go by, the skin on the face and neck begins to loosen. The jaw line softens into jowls and excess tissue forms at the front of the neck. The rhytidectomy, or facelift, could improve your looks and self-confidence. As with all facial plastic surgery, good health and realistic expectations are prerequisites. The goal of the facelift is to improve the overall facial appearance. A facelift cannot stop aging, nor can it turn back the clock. It will not improve fine wrinkles. The fat layer under the skin is converted to a network of tunnels and the cannula is manipulated within the layers to remove unwanted fatty deposits. An elastic garment is then worn for compression and healing. The result is a resculpting of bulging areas into more attractive contours.

Rhinoplasty, which is more commonly known as a ‘nose job’, is a surgical procedure used to refine and/or reshape the nose. Common changes include modifications in the size and shape of the bridge and/or the tip of the nose.
